Battery Grip is the item that I desperately wanted to get but it too expensive on the market, it costing about RM500+ for a new item.

Why need Battery Grip?

For me the 400D body grip felt cramped and a little uncomfortable when I hold it for shooting. And I hate to change battery after each 200-300 round of shooting, it even worst if I shoot in RAW. Yeah, if get a Battery Grip, it will be extra weight and it contributing to hand shaking photo but what to do? I have to start train my right hand muscle…if I train it unbalanced, it will look like Hell Boy..lol

I bought a 3rd party unit last 2 day from ebay. The Price at 2x cheaper than Canon Original Unit and it come with 2 units of 900mAh Pottix NB-2LH (Canon original unit only have 700mAh). I did checked the price for Phottix Battery, it cost about RM50-60 in Malaysia, so if deduct 2 units of Battery cost, this Battery grip just cost me about 1/3rd cost of the Canon Original unit. Now I still waiting for this unit to reach my door.
